Credit Card Policy

Thank you for choosing Hair House ATX for all your hair needs. We are committed to providing you with exceptional service, as well as making our processes as simple and efficient as possible. With the changing economic environment and standards in the beauty industry, more responsibility is being placed on the client in the form of upholding cancellation policies. Thus, it has become necessary to ensure we have a guarantee of payment on file.

Hair House ATX will require all clients to keep an active credit card on file with us. We will only charge your credit card when necessary to uphold policies. Circumstances when your card would be charged include but are not limited to:

  • missed, rescheduled, or canceled appointments without 24-hour notice

This in no way will compromise your ability to dispute a charge. If you have any questions about this payment method, do not hesitate to ask.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of the total amount of your scheduled service. If you no-call/no-show your appointment, you are subject to a charge of 100% of your service total. We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.

If you do not respond to any of our methods of confirmation (texts, phone call, email) , within 24 hours we have the right to cancel your appointment.

Same-Day Service Changes & Reductions

To protect our stylists' time and income, any reduction, cancellation, or removal of services on the day of your appointment may be subject to a charge for the originally reserved service time. When services are booked, that time is held specifically for you and prevents your stylist from accepting other appointments during that period.

For example, if you book a highlight and haircut appointment but decide on the day of your service that you no longer want the highlights, your stylist is unable to fill that reserved time with another guest on such short notice. Because of this, same-day service reductions may be charged based on the originally scheduled appointment.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage any appointment changes to be made as far in advance as possible so we can accommodate other guests and support our stylists' livelihoods.

Re-do service/adjustments to prior services

At Hair House we strive to provide a safe environment, and exceptional service. If an adjustment to a prior service is required, or you are unhappy with the outcome of the service provided, please notify us within 2 weeks of said service. Any complaints, or requests for re-do services after this time frame are subject to the stylist discretion and being charged.


Child Policy

At Hair House ATX, we work with sharp scissors, hot tools, chemicals, and other equipment, and we do not have an area designated for children or staff that can keep an eye on them during your appointment. For this reason, children are not permitted in the salon unless they have an appointment or are approved otherwise. Please understand that our concern is for the safety of your child and our clients and staff. Thank you for understanding!
